Veterans Day Assembly

In observance of Veteran’s Day, the Scouts will be participating in a Veteran’s Day assembly on Tuesday, November 11th at 8:00 AM in the Holy Spirit Gym. Please have your scout wear their full Class A Uniforms to school this day and arrive in the Gym by 7:50 AM if possible.

  • Cub Scout Pack 229 Webelos and Arrow of Light Dens will form a Color Guard for the Flag Ceremony. Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts in attendance and in uniform will form an honor guard.
  • Please remain with in the gym with your the Pack or Troop for a quick group photo after the assembly.
Scouting for Food

Scouting for Food

  • ⏰ Time: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Scouting for Food is an ongoing annual program of the Boy Scouts of America, begun in 1985 by the Greater Saint Louis Area Council. The program involves collecting for local food banks. It is organized at the local level throughout the country. Scouting for Food is a project rooted in the very foundation of the Scouting movement and its dedication to implement the Scout Slogan and do a good turn daily.

This year we will be collecting for Sacred Heart Community Center.

We handed out door hangers at the October Pack meeting. Please get in touch if you need more.

Neighborhood Pickup

Then on Saturday November 15th at 9:00 AM you’ll return to collect any donations that are left out.

Food Drop Off

  • At the Holy Spirit Courtyard by the Church on Sunday, November 16th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

SJ Sharks Scout Night

SJ Sharks Scout Night

Please join us on Saturday, October 11th at 7pm for the 2025 San Jose Sharks Scout Night! It’s sure to be a fun-filled night rooting on our hometown Sharks with your fellow Scouts as they take on the Anaheim Ducks! Our Scouts will receive a patch and a post-game group photo on the ice.

Crabbing Under the Golden Gate Bridge

  • 🗓️ Date: Saturday October 18th 2025
  • ⏰ Time: 10:00 AM
  • 📍 Location: San Francisco
  • 📋 Signup: Venmo @Neschae to reserve your spot once confirmed. and add your name to the Pack Signup
  • 🏁 Deadline: Wednesday October 1st 2025
  • 💵 Cost: $49-$55 per active participant (assuming 10 paying participants, final cost depends on our final number)

Space is limited so sign up soon!

  • Parent Chaperones will not have to pay if they share a pole with a child or are not participating.
  • We will need a minimum of 6 crabbing participants, with 16 being the max.
  • Equipment will be provided by Alex who is an expert crabber. But bring your bucket so you can take home your crabs to cook and eat for dinner.
  • The event happens on land near the shore, so there is no boat involved.
  • Since space is limited, the experience is currently open to Cub Scouts and their siblings in our pack. (For the Lions and Tigers, we need a 1:1 ratio of adults and kids.)
