We are excited to invite you and your Scouts to participate in the Los Gatos Christmas Parade on the morning of Saturday, December 7th. This wonderful event has been a cherished tradition for our community, with the Dad’s Club proudly organizing and sponsoring our entry for several years.

This year, we’d love to have a few scouts join us to carry the Holy Spirit School banner in front of our float. It’s a fun and memorable experience, and we’d be so grateful for your help in making our pack shine!

Commitment: Scouts and parents need to arrive early to line up with the float. The parade runs rain or shine.

What to Wear: Class A uniforms are preferred for Scouts carrying the banner. Theme is Toy Story, so others can dress up as their favorite Toy Story characters.

Golden State Warriors Scout Day 2025

It’s almost time to purchase our tickets for the ‘24-‘25 Golden State Warriors Scout Day when the Warriors take on the LA Clippers! As if watching our Warriors play wasn’t enough, our Scouts will also receive a Scout Day Shirt and have the opportunity for post-game free-throws on the court!

We will receive special group pricing but we will need an approximate headcount in order to get our blocks of seats. The ticket range should be between $100-$200 per ticket, ticket prices will be confirmed sometime in December, at which time a link to purchase will also be sent out. Please add your family details to this interest form before December 8th, but note that you are not obligated to purchase based on interest.

Veterans Day Assembly

In observance of Veteran’s Day, the Scouts will be participating in a Veteran’s Day assembly on Friday, November 8th at 8:00 AM in the Holy Spirit Gym. Please have your scout wear their Class A Uniforms to school this day and arrive in the Gym by 7:30 AM if possible.

  • Cub Scout Pack 229 Webelos Den will form an Color Guard for the flag ceremony - one Boy Scout from 8th Grade will be assigned the honor of reading the commands.
  • The remaining Cub Scout Pack and Girl Scout Troops will line the middle aisle for the flag procession.
  • Following the flag ceremony, a veteran will address the school.
  • Flag procession will proceed to the back of the gym, with all Scouts to follow.
  • Please remain with in the Gym with your the Pack or Troop for a quick group photo after the assembly.

Just a quick reminder about our Pack Meeting on Monday November 4th at 6:30 PM in the library.

We’ll be reminiscing about recent activities, handing out awards, creating our Christmas in the Park decorations, and preparing for the upcoming Veteran’s Day assembly.

Scouts at HSS can wear Class A uniforms to school on pack meeting days!

Also, please remember to bring any additional cans for our Scouting for Food drive. Your contributions make a difference!
